Unite and Empower Women of Makueni

Makueni Aka Housing Cooperative Society Ltd was formed to bring together women from Makueni County who share a common goal: creating opportunities and improving lives. Since our registration in 2012, we have grown into a strong network of members committed to exploring investment opportunities, particularly in Konza Techno City, while also reaching beyond the county to support women across the nation. Our cooperative thrives on collaboration, shared responsibility, and the democratic management of members’ funds, ensuring that every voice matters.

Our Story in Action

From monthly meetings to mentoring programs for youth and women, every activity we undertake is driven by the desire to empower. Through economic ventures like real estate, agribusiness, and trading, combined with social initiatives, we create spaces where women can grow, learn, and prosper together.
